Where Do We Fish?

Our trips are fished out of the Calcasieu Estuary. All rods, reels, bait and tackle are furnished. We will clean and bag your catch.The only items you will need to bring are a Louisiana fishing license, ice chest with your choice of soft drinks (water is provided), snacks, appropriate clothing for the weather, sunscreen, and an ice chest to take your cleaned catch home.

Live shrimp are to be purchased by the customer from one of our local marinas on the day of your trip.

 

What Will It Cost?

Half Day Trip

$550 for up to 3 guests.
4th guest is an additional $100.

Full Day Trip

$700 for up to 3 guests.
4th guest is an additional $100.

Bait will be provided at no additional charge (including live bait when available) for both half and full day trips

About this space

THE MAN CAMP is perfect for the guys and ladies weekend get-a-way. We call it the man camp because it is very close to the Calcasieu boat launch, and about hour from Hackberry/fishing. We are minutes away from the airport, casinos and all Lake Charles has to offer and just far enough out to have a quiet stay. Sorry, but this place is not available for month long rentals. Please see other details about cleaning services below.

Other things to note

There are two small other apartments located next to the house and at times we will need to access the laundry room for cleaning the other rentals. This, of course, is all mapped out before your booking.

Need a Fishing License?

Licenses are available at local Wal-Mart stores and Academy Sports or by phone at 1-888-765-2602.
3-day out of state licenses with a guide are $10.00, plus a handling fee.

You can also visit the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries website for more information on obtaining your fishing license.
